What is the age limit at clubs in Stockholm?
It varies by night, not just by venue: 18, 20 and 23 are the limits you will see most often, and the same club can run an 18+ night one weekend and a 23+ night the next. The organiser's page – linked on every row – states the limit for that night. Bring valid photo ID; it is checked at the door regardless of how old you look.
What time do clubs in Stockholm open and close?
Most club nights start around 23:00 and run until about 03:00; a handful of venues hold later licences. Doors are usually quiet before midnight, and the queue builds from around 00:30. Some events on this page start earlier in the evening – the time on each row is the organiser's own start time.
Is there a dress code?
Rarely at techno, house and rave nights – come as you are, and wear shoes you can dance in for hours. Some of the more traditional nightclubs are stricter about sportswear and trainers. If a night has a dress code it is stated on the organiser's page, so check the link on the row before you go.
How do I get home after a club night in Stockholm?
On Friday and Saturday nights the metro (tunnelbana) runs through the night, and night buses cover the rest of the week and the outer suburbs – SL's app shows the last departure for your line. Taxis are easy to find in the centre; use a registered company or a ride app and check the price before you get in.
