Sortberry (“we”, “us”) is an events discovery service for Stockholm, available at sortberry.com and as a mobile app. This page explains what data we collect and why. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the product, we do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

What we collect

  • Account details. If you sign in (with Google, Apple, or email), we store your email address and a user ID so your saved events follow you across devices. You can use the core of Sortberry without an account.
  • Your activity in the app. The events you swipe on and save. This powers your saved list, your reminders, and the anonymous, aggregated statistics we use to rank events (e.g. “food festivals get saved more than arena concerts”).
  • Notifications. If you enable reminders or push notifications, we store the delivery address for them (your email and/or a push token).
  • Usage analytics. Standard, privacy-conscious product analytics (page views, feature usage) to understand what works. We do not use advertising trackers.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (authentication and database) and processed under their security standards. Emails are sent via Resend. Analytics run on Google Analytics.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your personal data.
  • Show third-party advertising or use ad trackers.
  • Ask for your location, contacts, or photos.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it at any time — email hello@sortberry.com and we’ll handle it within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including access, rectification, and erasure.
